Overhead Cabling & Rigging

Our overhead cabling crews install, tension and dress aerial cable across new and existing routes. Every span goes up like it’s going in front of an auditor — because it might be.

What our overhead cabling covers

  • Aerial cable installation on new and existing pole routes
  • Tensioning, dressing and span regulation to spec
  • Recabling and cable recovery on legacy routes
  • Rigging for network upgrades and fibre overbuilds
  • Fibre installations through proved duct — paired with our TRR teams
  • Works packaged with poling and splicing for full-route delivery

Spec-tight spans.

Sag, tension and clearances done right first time. No return visits, no defect lists.

Route-level thinking.

Cabling rarely travels alone. Package it with poling and splicing and save a mobilisation — see how on network build.

Accredited and insured.

Every operative is ticketed and every job is backed by RAMS — see accreditations. Working at height follows HSE guidance throughout.

How a cabling job runs

1. Route review.

Spans, pole condition and access checked — weak poles get flagged to testing before they carry new load.

2. Plan.

Drum schedule, tensions and in-house traffic management arranged; RAMS issued.

3. Install.

Cable up, tensioned, dressed and regulated to spec, span by span.

4. Evidence.

Photos and records per span, submitted with the completion pack.
