Telegraph Pole Installation — New Poles, Erected to Spec

Our telegraph pole installation crews work nationwide for tier-1s, Openreach partners, altnets and landowners. Manual or mechanical erection, always to specification, and crews mobilised in 2–4 weeks.

What our telegraph pole installation covers

Whether it’s one pole for a new connection or hundreds across a build programme, our erectors install to Openreach specifications with the paperwork to prove it. Hole depth, setting, staying and dressing — all done right first time.

  • New telegraph pole installation, from single poles to full programmes
  • Specialist machinery, crane installation or manual techniques depending on access
  • Poles supplied or customer free-issue
  • Staying, dressing and plant fitting to spec
  • Full reinstatement, so the site looks like we were never there

To spec, evidenced.

Package installation with cabling and splicing and save a mobilisation.

How a pole installation job runs

1. Assess.

Photos and postcode are usually enough to price; complex sites get a survey. Specialist machinery, crane options and manual techniques are assessed to choose a suitable method.

2. Plan.

RAMS, any permits and in-house traffic management arranged. You get a date, and the date holds.

3. Install.

Hole to correct depth, pole set, stayed and dressed to spec, plant fitted.

4. Evidence & reinstate.

Photos taken, quality record completed, site reinstated — lawn, drive or verge made good.

Typical installation jobs we take on

  • Single poles for new connections on private land
  • Route builds of tens to hundreds of poles for network operators
  • Replacement-adjacent new positions where routes are realigned
  • Poles for CCTV, private networks and farm connections
  • The awkward ones: rear gardens, embankments and everything the last contractor declined
