A condemned pole is a risk clock ticking. Our crews replace decayed, storm-damaged and D-noticed poles quickly and safely. (A D-notice is the
formal marking that a pole is defective — condemned as unsafe to climb until it’s replaced.) New pole in, plant and services transferred, old pole recovered, site reinstated — one visit where possible, zero drama throughout.
Condemned poles get proper assessments and proper methods — often starting with pole testing.
Transfers are planned so customers stay connected.
Specialist machinery, spider cranes and suitable manual techniques for hard-to-reach pole replacements.
Photo, location and what's on the pole tells us most of what we need. D-notices and test data reviewed if they exist.
Method chosen for the access, transfer of services planned, RAMS issued, date fixed.
New pole in beside the old where possible, plant and services transferred live, old pole recovered.
